Lausanne Diamond League Athletissima 2023 men’s 1500m results.

Another impressive 1500m performance was produced by Norwegian Jakob Ingebristen in Lausanne.

He ran a meeting record of 3:28.72 to win over Ethiopia’s steeplechase wolrd record holder, Lamecha Girma, who set a national record of 3:29.51. Third across the line was Olympic bronze medalist from Great Britain, Josh Kerr, who ran a season’s best time of 3:29.64.

During the Diamond League circuit this year, Jakob Ingebrigtsen has raced the 1500 three times and won almost unchallenged on all three occasions.
